Job summary

Blue Star in India is seeking a Production Planner to optimize 4M (Methods, Men, Material, Machine) resources and ensure production and distribution run smoothly in a cost-effective manner.

The role includes collecting orders from Branch Offices, coordinating with Materials, Production, HR, QA, R D, and preparing time-and-action calendars to meet shipment deadlines while ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Collection of orders from Branch Offices
• Coordinate with internal departments like Materials, Production, HR, QA, R D etc.
• Preparation of Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly plan detailing all task to meet predicted completion date
• Regular coordination for bought out and in-house material
• Follow-up with dispatch department for on-time execution of orders
• Liaise with customers from abroad and SPOC for external agency Container/ export planning
• Prepare and coordinate for Container stuffing plan
• Coordination with dispatch team for setting priority
• Preparation of time and action calendar for each order from order receiving to shipment.
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met and Work on reduction of first aid accidents
• Ensures environment protection and maintaining safety by Monitoring of Manufacturing Related activities including Production, Planning and scheduling, controls and other related functions.
