Job summary

HL Klemove in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to coordinate demand forecasts with planning and sales teams, release forecasts and PO to suppliers, and ensure material availability.

You will track shipments, coordinate with forwarders, CHAs, and internal teams, manage inventory, and support 4M changes and ECN processes to maintain uninterrupted supply.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Planning & Sales Team to receive customer demand forecasts with accuracy
• Release the forecast and purchase orders to suppliers based on demand and lead time
• Reschedule supplier delivery schedules based on customer demand fluctuations and business requirements to ensure uninterrupted material availability
• Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation and delivery schedules
• Monitor supplier commitments and ensure on-time dispatch of materials
• Coordinate with forwarders for shipment booking and logistics arrangements
• Track air and sea shipments until arrival and ensure smooth material movement
• Review pre-alert and shipping documents shared by forwarders and coordinate with the Customs House Agent for customs clearance activities
• Verify the Customs House Agent checklist and ensure timely completion of import clearance processes
• Follow up until material delivery, GRN completion, and supplier payment processing
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers, forwarders, the Customs House Agent, and internal teams for uninterrupted supply chain operations
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to maintain optimum stock availability and avoid shortages
• Coordinate and implement 4M changes, ECN (Engineering Change Notice), and EOP (End of Production) activities with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations and material transition
