Job summary

Utkarsh Placement is seeking a proactive professional to oversee Demand & Production Planning, Inventory Control, and Resource Allocation. The role focuses on creating robust production schedules, managing inventory levels to prevent stoppages, and coordinating with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include data gathering for planning, capacity analysis, and proactive risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
• Collaborate with customer buyer, procurement, and production teams to gather relevant data for accurate production planning.
• Analyze production specifications and capacity data to determine optimal production schedules.
• Ensure accurate work orders scheduling as per customer demand plan
• Keep right visibility on pick up forecast with customer Logistics team.
• Actively manage inventory in line with cost and physical space requirements, ensuring lowest inventory levels to avoid production stoppages.
• Facilitate control of materials consumption in production, highlighting deviations to production and local engineering teams for mitigation of BOM variance.
• Coordinate with procurement to optimize raw material and component availability based on production schedules.
• Liaise with various departments, including production, quality control, suppliers, and logistics, to ensure smooth workflow and timely product delivery.
• Communicate production schedules, changes, and updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues. Also develop and maintain expertise in supply assurance through relationships with suppliers & related stakeholders.
• Allocate resources efficiently to meet production targets while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
• Work closely with production supervisors to ensure adequate staffing levels and equipment availability.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement in the production planning process.
• Anticipate and address potential production delays or bottlenecks by proactively identifying risks and developing contingency plans
