Job summary

Lead Hr Services is seeking a Planning Engineer in Tamil Nadu to oversee production and project planning. With a minimum of 3 years in production planning and ERP-driven environments, you will drive SOPs, MRP, and KPI reporting while coordinating with sales, quality, procurement, and maintenance teams.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or BE in Mechanical/Production Engineering, be proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Office, and demonstrate strong cost-control and process-improvement

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or Equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Production planning & Project planning.
• Experienced in ERP systems in planning modules
• Master in office tools(Word, Excel & Powerpoint) and Primavera P6.
• Awareness of Safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the project launching and closing in ERP
• Coordinate with sales, quality control, procurement department, stores and maintenance team to ensure the fulfillment of customers requirements / Compliance with FRO.
• Manage all indicators regarding production and sales performances.
• Ensure weekly and monthly production schedules & targets.
• Manage Sales & Operation planning (SOP), Material Requirement Planning (MRP) tools and arrange periodical reviews with concerned teams.
• Co-ordination between production and procurement departments for the availability of materials in a timely manner.
• Analyze production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement to optimize stock holding and reduce lead times.
• Perform root cause analysis for any production delays and propose preventive measures.
• Maintain and update KPI dashboards for real-time visibility into operational performance.
• Support internal and external audits by ensuring accurate documentation and ERP data integrity.
