Job summary

ACT Plast Paints is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to plan, execute and monitor preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance across the paint shop and utilities. You will lead a team of technicians, supervise contractors, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include PLC-controlled system troubleshooting, commissioning of new equipment, and driving Kaizen and cost-saving improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in paint shop and utility maintenance.
• Proficiency in maintenance of ETP/STP/RO/DM plants preferred.
• Experience leading a team of technicians and contractors.
• Familiarity with RCA/CAPA and safety, environmental, and quality systems.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technicians and contractors; manage spares and records.
• Support RCA and CAPA for recurring failures.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and quality management compliance.

Role & responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to achieve maximum equipment uptime.
• Lead maintenance activities for Paint Shop, Utility Systems, and Electroplating equipment.
• Operate and maintain ETP, STP, RO, and DM plants in compliance with statutory and environmental requirements.
• Perform troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and modify PLC-controlled systems; programming knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Lead machinery installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
• Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of diesel burner systems and associated utilities.
• Conduct condition monitoring and implement predictive maintenance techniques to improve equipment reliability.
• Plan and supervise fabrication and modification activities for process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement, Kaizen and cost-saving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead a team of technicians and contractors by allocating work, monitoring performance, and developing technical competencies.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, spare parts inventory, and documentation.
• Coordinate with production, quality, EHS, and other cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring equipment failures.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
