Job summary

Flex is seeking a Senior Engineer – NPI in Sriperumbudur to lead new product introductions and ensure successful production launches. You will serve as the main liaison with customers during audits and drive project plans from concept to ramp-up, coordinating across engineering and operations.

The role requires strong NPI, product and project management experience, and familiarity with ECO/ECN/ECR procedures, reporting to the Engineering team in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in NPI and related roles
• Experience in Product and Project management
• Knowledge of ECO/ECN/ECR procedures

Responsibilities

• Project management of new product introductions (NPI).
• Single point of contact with customers and on-site for audits.
• Design the project plan and share with the customer for visibility of product launches.
• Schedule the Kick-off meeting for on-time product launch.
• Responsible for new product implementation in production line.
• Develop product build plans and perform production according to process instructions.
• Coordinate with program teams to develop schedule and quote.
• Create and maintain build processes, coordinate product builds for release, prioritize issues and work with design to resolve them.

What a typical day looks like:

• Project management of new product introductions (NPI).
• Experience Single point of contact with the customers & handling the customers on-site for audit.
• Design the project plan and share it with the customer for better visibility of product launch with challenges
• Schedule the Kick-off meeting for on-time Product launch.
• Responsible for the new product implementation in production line.
• Develop product build plans and perform production according to manufacturing process instructions.
• Coordinate with program teams to develop the new product schedule & quote.
• Creates/maintains build processes, coordinates product builds for release into production, prioritizes failures and works with design to resolve issues

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Typically requires 5+years of experience
• Strong Experience in New product Introduction.
• Experience in Product and Project management skills.
• Knowledge in ECO/ECN/ECR procedure
