Job summary

Flex is hiring an Associate Engineer, Quality to join its Coimbatore team. You will support supplier evaluation, process improvements, and quality control activities to ensure product and process conformity.

Qualified candidates hold a Diploma in EEE/ECE/Mech/E&TC with 0–2 years in Automotive/EMS/Electronics manufacturing, basic PCB knowledge, lean manufacturing familiarity, ISO standards exposure, and MS Office skills. Health insurance and PTO are provided.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years experience in Automotive/EMS/Electronics manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of PCB operations, Lean manufacturing and ISO standards.
• Knowledge of measurement techniques and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier approval by assessing capabilities and HSE risks.
• Assist in new product launches to meet supplier quality standards.
• Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier issues.
• Document inspection results and report KPIs to prevent non-conformities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Associate Engineer , Quality in Coimbatore .

What a typical day looks like:

• Knowledge in Quality Management System, Quality Tools/Terminology.
• Knowledge in EMS / Manufacturing process
• Support in supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety and Environmental risks.
• Support new product launches to ensure that supplier quality meets the required standards.
• Follow up with suppliers for root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
• Collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities.
• Provide concise, complete, and accurate documentation of inspection results relative to area of responsibility.
• Adhere to process and look for possible process improvements.
• Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process, or system.
• Have basic knowledge on PPAP, ISO/IATF Standards, Drawing reading.
• Manage and coordinate supplier Material / Non-Material cost recovery for Supplier Quality issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
• Quality control of work by appropriate reviews
• Providing data-driven decision support

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Diploma in EEE / ECE / Mech / E&TC.
• 0 to 2 years' experience in Automotive Industry /EMS / Electronics Products Manufacturing Industry
• Basic Knowledge in various PCB operations, Lean manufacturing, and ISO standards
• Knowledge of measurement techniques
• Planning and prioritizing activities
• Knowledge of MS office and MS outlook.
• Flexible to work in any time zone.
• Good communication, analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Very studious, fast learner and able to adapt to the environment.
• Should be very sincere, dedicated and good team player.
