Maintenance Engineer – C&S

Responsible for troubleshooting and providing necessary actions for injection molding machines and related accessories such as MTC, HRC, material feeding system, hydraulic, servo controller, and EOT cranes. Develop a preventive maintenance master plan and schedule, carry out daily maintenance, verify effectiveness of PM, and update work instructions and check‑sheets as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that production equipment is available for full production.
• Apply troubleshooting knowledge in electrical and electronic circuits, sensors, VFD, PLC, HMI, vision systems.
• Conduct daily downtime analysis for root cause identification using Why‑Why and TPM tools.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems, perform routine maintenance tasks, and assist with scheduled maintenance activities.
• Monitor MTTR, MTBF, and machine uptime; control setup scrape.
• Check the life of pneumatic and hydraulic systems and plan replacements.
• Support the process team to reduce in‑process scrap.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance, closing observations within the required time frame.
• Plan and execute predictive maintenance based on machine manuals and failure data.
• Plan for new project implementation and design changes.
• Independently manage end‑to‑end C&S maintenance activities.
• Implement root cause analysis and appropriate corrective actions.
• Focus on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine availability and reduce spare part costs.
• Possess sound knowledge of C&S spare management.
• Maintain exposure in take‑out robot installation, troubleshooting, and programming.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics.
• 5+ years of experience in injection molding maintenance—mechanical and electrical.
• Strong maintenance knowledge in MTC, HRC, material feeding system, take‑out robots, and chillers.
• Ability to work under pressure, flexible, reliable, and a team player.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits.
• Knowledge of spare management, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
