As a Maintenance & Engineering Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant facilities, machinery, and utilities within a high-performance manufacturing environment. This is a senior, hands‑on role that combines deep technical expertise with strong people management and continuous improvement capabilities, supporting business continuity and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage maintenance operations for critical machinery, utilities, and plant infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted production
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and utilities in line with OEM guidelines
- Drive installation, commissioning, and ramp-up of new machines and utilities, including project planning, budgeting, and Gantt chart preparation
- Analyze breakdown trends, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions using tools such as TPM, 5S, Kaizen, OPL, and continuous improvement frameworks
- Develop and control repair and maintenance budgets, spare parts management, and inventory optimization
- Improve machine uptime, energy efficiency, and resource utilization through data-driven initiatives and system improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and internal engineering policies
- Maintain detailed machine history records, performance metrics, and maintenance documentation
- Lead, mentor, and train maintenance teams, fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous learning
- Collaborate with operations, production, and leadership teams to align maintenance strategies with business goals
Qualifications
- Strong hands‑on experience with injection molding, blow molding, compression molding machines, and critical utilities such as compressors, chillers, dryers, and gas generators
- Proven expertise in mixed‑discipline maintenance environments involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement preventive maintenance systems that enhance reliability, safety, and efficiency
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a track record of driving cost reduction, cycle time improvement, and energy optimization
- Effective communicator with strong leadership skills, capable of managing teams and working under high-pressure manufacturing conditions
- Solid understanding of engineering drawings, schematics, and industrial standards
- Experience using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP systems to support reporting, planning, and decision-making
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to balance technical depth, operational execution, and strategic thinking
