Job summary

Tata AutoComp Systems Limited is hiring for a senior role in the maintenance of high-tonnage injection moulding equipment in its plastics components division. The candidate will manage breakdowns, preventive and predictive maintenance and oversee auxiliaries like hot runners and coolant systems.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of experience in plastics auto components with injection moulding, and a Diploma or BE in EEE. CIPET PD-MM is a plus; attention to safety and 5S is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in EEE; CIPET (PD-MM) is an added advantage.
• Experience of 5–8 years in plastics auto components with injection moulding.
• Knowledge of high-tonnage injection moulding machines (1500–2500 ton) and related auxiliaries.

Responsibilities

• Operate higher tonnage injection moulding machines (1500–2500 ton).
• Perform breakdown, preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Manage auxiliaries (hot runner, mould temp controller, hydraulic core setup).
• Plan preventive/predictive maintenance and corrective actions from past failures.
• Handle utility equipment (compressor, cooling tower, chiller) and maintain critical spares.
• Maintain ISO14001, IATF, TPM, BSC documentation and records.
• Identify abnormalities and prepare action plans for rectification.
• Apply Kaizen principles and 5S for safety and efficiency.
• Ensure safe maintenance, repair and replacement of plant equipment.
• Prepare reports and recommendations to improve plant operations.
• Ensure maintenance technicians are trained, equipped and motivated.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Qualification: Diploma or BE in EEE, Added advantage CIPET (PD- MM)

Experience: 5 to 8 years in plastics auto components with injection moulding experience

JD:

• Should Handle Higher tonnage Injection moulding machine from 1500 ton to 2500 Ton, Having experience in FCS & Engel is added advantage. Breakdown, Preventive & Predictive maintenance of higher tonnage injection moulding machine, (Tonnage 600 to 2750 Ton )
• Finding the root cause and address the breakdown issue on time and have to maintain reliable uptime.
• Handling of Auxiliaries like hot runner controller, Mould temperature controller, sequential gate system and hydraulic core setup.
• Make plan for preventive and predictive maintenance to take corrective actions for the past failures
• Handling of Utility equipment Compressor, cooling tower and chiller.
• Monitoring and maintain the critical spare for machine to control the break down time
• Maintain department documents related to the ISO140001 ,IATF ,TPM, BSC etc.,
• Identification of abnormalities in the entire machine and make action plan for rectifying the same.
• Knowledge of Kaizen and power conservation. & Knowledge of safety and 5s
• Breakdown analysis and maintenance
• Critical spare managements
• Responsible for safe maintenance, repair and replacement of plant equipment and systems to ensure maximum machine uptime
• Prepare the report analysis data and make recommendation for improving plant operations and solving maintenance related problems.
• Ensure that maintenance technician are adequate trained, equipped and motivated
