Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Project Lead – Finishing in Chennai, India, to oversee the execution of all finishing works for large-scale construction projects. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete execution of all finishing works including plastering, tiling, painting, false ceilings, flooring, joinery, cladding, and façade treatments at site.
• Develop detailed work plans and schedules for finishing activities in coordination with planning and execution teams.
• Ensure alignment of finishing activities with architectural and interior design specifications and client expectations.
• Oversee deployment of resources including manpower, subcontractors, and materials to ensure productivity and timely completion.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, design, QA/QC, and procurement teams for seamless interface execution and issue resolution.
• Review shop drawings, mock-ups, and sample approvals in collaboration with consultants and clients.

Overview

The Project Lead – Finishing – Site is responsible for end-to-end planning, management, and execution of finishing works across large-scale construction projects at the site. The role ensures that interior and exterior architectural finishes are delivered in alignment with design specifications, quality benchmarks, and project timelines. The incumbent leads a multidisciplinary site team and coordinates with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality finishes and ensure timely project handovers.
