Job summary

NR GROUP is seeking a facade engineering professional to assist in the design and development of building envelope systems such as curtain walls and glazing. The role involves creating drawings, 3D models, and performing structural analyses under the supervision of senior engineers.

The candidate should have 1+ years of experience in facade design or related areas, and possess AutoCAD skills with exposure to Rhino, Revit, or Grasshopper being a strong advantage.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in facade design, building envelope, or structural glazing systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; exposure to Rhino, Revit, Grasshopper, or other BIM/3D tools is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of facade materials such as glass, aluminum, steel, stone, and composites.
• Understanding of structural mechanics, thermal performance, acoustics, and waterproofing in facade systems.
• Willingness to stay updated on industry codes and standards.

• Assist in preparing detailed drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Perform engineering calculations and structural analysis related to faade design and performance.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent and technical requirements are met.
• Participate in material selection, testing, and performance evaluation of faade systems.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality checks during fabrication and installation stages.
• Stay updated on the latest faade technologies, sustainability practices, and industry codes/standards.
