Job summary

Chart Industries seeks a Senior Engineer/Engineer - Design (SolidWorks) for on-site work in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. Candidate will design tanks, pressure vessels and related systems for cryogenic storage projects, interfacing with clients and vendors.

Required are a mechanical engineering degree and 3–8 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and PDM. ISO standards compliance and quality system adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 3 to 8 years of experience preferably in Cryogenic, Pressure Vessels & Boilers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design of tanks / pressure vessels for execution of projects.
• Carry out engineering design activities: basic engineering, plant layout and system engineering for the project.
• Complete all specifications and documentation for manufacture/procurement of equipment for the project.
• Select materials and components required.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and ISO standards as applicable.
• Prepare tendering layout designs.
• Ensure work conforms to the Company's Quality System.
• Interface with client and vendors for purchase and fabrication work.

What Will You Do?

Prepare detaileddesignof tanks / pressure vessels for execution of projects

Carry out the engineeringdesignactivities basic engineering, plant layout and system engineering necessary to fulfil the requirements of the assigned project work.

Complete all the specifications and documentation required for the manufacture and/or procurement of equipment necessary for the successful execution of the assigned work.

Select the materials and components required

Ensure that all work complies with relevant statutory requirements and ISO standards, as applicable.

Prepare for tendering layoutdesigns.

Ensure that all work undertaken conforms to the requirements of the Companys Quality System.

Interface with the Client and vendors as required for purchase and fabrication work.
