Job summary

Chart Industries, a global leader in engineered equipment for liquefied gases, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for VRV Asia Pacific Pvt. Ltd. in India. You will design cryogenic tanks and pressure vessels and coordinate with clients and vendors for execution.

We value 3–8 years of experience in cryogenic systems, with a strong foundation in basic engineering, plant layout and ISO standards. You will ensure quality and prepare layouts for tendering and procurement.

Qualifications

• Graduate with mechanical engineering degree and relevant cryogenic experience.
• Experience in cryogenic tanks, pressure vessels and boilers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design of tanks and pressure vessels for project execution.
• Perform basic engineering, plant layout and system engineering for assigned projects.
• Compile specifications and documentation for manufacture or procurement.
• Select materials and components required for fabrication.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and ISO standards.
• Prepare tendering layout designs.
• Adhere to the company's Quality System across work.
• Interface with clients and vendors for procurement and fabrication.

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 3 to 8 years of experience preferably in Cryogenic, Pressure Vessels & Boilers.

What Will You Do?

Prepare detaileddesignof tanks / pressure vessels for execution of projects

Carry out the engineeringdesignactivities basic engineering, plant layout and system engineering necessary to fulfil the requirements of the assigned project work.

Complete all the specifications and documentation required for the manufacture and/or procurement of equipment necessary for the successful execution of the assigned work.

Select the materials and components required

Ensure that all work complies with relevant statutory requirements and ISO standards, as applicable.

Prepare for tendering layoutdesigns.

Ensure that all work undertaken conforms to the requirements of the Companys Quality System.

Interface with the Client and vendors as required for purchase and fabrication work.
