Job summary

VRV Asia Pacific Pvt. Ltd!!! A CHART Industries Company in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh is seeking a seasoned production professional with a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years of experience in cryogenic or pressure vessel manufacturing to lead production planning.

You will manage production teams, provide technical guidance on welding (TIG, MIG, SAW) and ensure compliance with ASME codes, safety, and quality systems while driving lean and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech (Mech.) with 5 years of experience in Cryogenic / Pressure Vessels / Oil & Gas / Boilers industry or related capital goods manufacturing & fabrication.
• Knowledge of welding processes (TIG, MIG & SAW), testing procedures & ASME codes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• People management skills; hardworking and result oriented.

Responsibilities

• Plan the production to meet monthly targets and project schedules.
• Manage production employees and provide technical guidance on processes.
• Ensure on-time achievement of targets within time/cost parameters.
• Ensure safety, statutory compliance, quality management systems and IMS procedures.
• Use LEAN and SIX Sigma tools to improve manufacturing processes and reduce rework.
• Coordinate with procurement, quality, design and planning for smooth workflow.
• Create a safe working environment and maintain good housekeeping in the workshop.
• Define preventive and corrective actions with quality representatives and address non-conformities.
• Participate in development of new products and analyze production capacity.

Your Experience Should Be...

BE / B. Tech (Mech.) with 5 years of experience in Cryogenic / Pressure Vessels / Oil & Gas / Boilers industry or any capital goods manufacturing & fabrication industry.

What Will You Do?

Plan the production in order to execute the monthly production target and Project Schedule.

Manage the production employees and give technical support & guidelines related to the production processes.

Ensure timely accomplishment of production targets within the time frame and cost parameters mutually agreed with the Management

Compliance to Safety, Statutory Regulations, Quality Management Systems & IMS Procedures

To create and follow all necessary indicators to evaluate the manufacturing process for continuous improvement practice such as LEAN management and SIX Sigma.

Reduce the rework and rejection by applying the various tools & process

To coordinate with all other supporting departments such as procurement, quality control & assurance, Design, and Planning to ensure smooth production work flow.

Ensure & create safe working environment & good housekeeping in the workshop.

Define preventive and corrective actions along with the quality representative in the processes inherent to the Quality Assurance System, and removal of non-conformities.

Participate in the development of new products, conducting pertinent studies, analyzing the production capacity and other relevant.
