Job summary

ReNew is seeking a Senior Engineer - Electrical - Quality - Asset Management - Wind to oversee quality and reliability across wind assets. The role requires 7–8 years of wind industry experience with a focus on O&M and quality, including RCA for major component failures.

The incumbent will coordinate with cross-functional teams, lead audits, analyze failures and implement corrective actions across wind projects in Karnataka, driving continuous improvement, safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in hydro power plants is essential.
• Strong analytical skills for RCA and implementing corrective actions.
• Proven experience in quality assurance within wind/O&M projects.
• Effective leadership with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare audit schedules for preventive maintenance.
• Execute process and post-maintenance audits for wind assets.
• Perform NC analysis and coordinate closure with site teams.
• Lead root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor WTG components, 33 kV lines, and PSS systems.
• Drive Kaizen and 5S improvement projects.

Role - Senior Engineer - Electrical - Quality - Asset Management - Wind

Location - Bableshwar / Sattegiri - Karnataka

Basic Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech. - Electrical/Mechnical

Years of Experience : 7-8 Years (Wind Industry - Quality / O&M)

Key Responsibilities of the Role :-

1. Preparation of Audit schedule for Preventive maintenance audits.
2. Executing process & post maintenance Preventive maintenance audits.
3. NC analysis and Coordinating with site team effective closure of the issues.
4. 1st level root cause analysis of major component failure. Collaborating with CFT team to conclude the RCA
5. Knowledge on WTG ,33 kv line & PSS components
6. Driving special project like -5S Audit and Kaizen
7. Analyzing repeated failure of components & repeated breakdowns.
8. NCR management for the deviations observed in internal/ external audits
9. Coordination with the internal/ external stakeholders for audit management
10. NC analysis and Coordinating with site team effective closure of the issues
11. Periodic meeting with cross functional team for effective resolution of the issues.
12. Providing theoretical to wind asset management team

Essential:-

• Experience in working in hydro power plants
• Basic Knowledge on Integrated Management System certification consisting of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018,
• Analytical skills for RCAand Corrective action.
