Commvault is seeking a Senior Engineer for C#/C++ to join our Server Team in India (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune). You will develop core server components for enterprise backup, recovery, and cyber resilience workloads, collaborating across globally distributed teams to deliver scalable, reliable software.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of software development experience along with strong C++, C#, OO design, and Dotnet skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience in C++, C#, OO design, and Dotnet.
• Solid knowledge of OS (Windows/Linux), multithreading, data structures, networking, and distributed systems.
• Experience debugging and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and agile work skills.
• Security and SaaS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core server-side components.
• Build scalable, high-performance enterprise software.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.

The Opportunity

We have an outstanding career opportunity for Senior Engineer- C#/C++ at Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune locations. As a Senior Engineer on the Server Team, you will develop and enhance mission-critical server components that process large-scale enterprise backup, recovery, and cyber resilience workloads. You’ll collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams to deliver highly scalable, reliable, and high-performance software.

What You’ll Do…

• Design, develop, and maintain core server-side components.

Who You Are…

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4 or more years of software development experience
• Strong experience in C++, C#, Object oriented design, Dotnet.
• Good knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows/Linux), Multithreading and concurrency, Data structures and algorithms, Networking concepts, Distributed systems.
• Experience with debugging and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in Agile development environments.
• Security and SaaS experience strongly preferred.
