Job summary

Force Motors in India is seeking a Maintenance professional to manage PM and breakdown activities, plan manpower distribution across shifts, and drive improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance machine availability.

The role involves MIS preparation, project work, KPI monitoring for the maintenance department, and a strong mechanical core to troubleshoot issues and coordinate material availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance activities including PM and breakdown handling.
• Capable of MIS preparation and KPI monitoring for the department.
• Strong mechanical technical core and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review manpower distribution and output for available manpower.
• Monitor standby spares readiness for immediate replacement.
• Attend major breakdowns of the shop and plan downtime reduction.
• Coordinate material procurement and ensure stock availability of critical spares.
• Ensure repairing of standby equipment and timely scrap removal.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. MAN related

• a) Review Manpower distribution and out put of available manpower.
• b) Monitor availability of stand by spares readiness for immediate replacement.
• c) Attending Major breakdowns of shop
• d) Improvement activities, Plan, modification to reduce down time.
• e) Attending chronic issues reported by Production or QC or PE

2. Material related

• a) Procurement of material through quarterly, indenting, proposals etc.
• b) Monitor material consumption within target range.
• c) ensure stock availability of critical spares and long lead items.
• d) PSV and stores house keeping , timely scrap removal
• e) Ensure repairing of stand by equipments and spares ready.

Preferred candidate profile

Performing Maintenance activities related to PM /Break down of respective shift, Manpower distribution for all Maintenance activities, MIS preparation, Project work, Monitoring and maintaining KPI of department. Technical core Mechanical
