Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise shift-wise mechanical maintenance per SOPs, GMP, and engineering best practices.
• Ensure resources, parts, and manpower are available to minimize downtime.
• Manage PM and BM scheduling, tracking, and monthly compliance records.
• Support facility expansion projects with proper documentation and technical needs.
• Maintain GMP, GEP, QMS compliance including SOPs, audits, and training.
• Drive energy efficiency, Kaizen, and continuous improvement of engineering systems.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:-

• Lead and supervise shift-wise mechanical maintenance operations, ensuring planned and breakdown maintenance activities are executed as per SOPs, GMP, and Good Engineering Practices.
• Ensure availability of resources, spare parts, and manpower for smooth operation of plant equipment and machinery, while minimizing breakdowns through continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Manage preventive maintenance (PM) and breakdown maintenance (BM) activities, including scheduling, monitoring execution, and maintaining monthly compliance records.
  
• Support facility expansion projects and cross-functional engineering activities, ensuring timely completion of project-related documentation and technical requirements.
  
• Maintain GMP, GEP, QMS, and statutory compliance, including SOPs, protocols, audits, training, documentation, approvals, and closure of quality-related activities.
  
• Drive operational excellence through energy conservation, effective shift communication, Kaizen initiatives, and continuous improvement of engineering systems and processes.
