Job summary

A leading automotive company in Mumbai is looking for a dedicated professional with 2-3 years of experience in the automotive sector to handle various maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include monitoring breakdown reports, managing spare parts inventory, and ensuring preventive maintenance to achieve zero breakdowns. Ideal candidates should have a diploma or degree in mechanical engineering and a solid understanding of injection moulding and preventive maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in the Automotive Industry.
• Knowledge of Injection Moulding and Preventive Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Allocate manpower to mechanical and electrical tasks.
• Monitor breakdown reports and perform analysis.
• Ensure machines are off during breaks to save electricity.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and control breakdowns.

Job description

Daily Task:

• Manpower handling allocation to mechanical & electrical
• Breakdown report monitoring and Breakdown analysis.
• Giving breakdown targets as zero.
• Utilities monitoring/Checking shop floor
• Spare parts maintenance
• Machine repair monitoring from external source
• Preparing daily machine maintenance check sheet
• Should have worked on and have knowledge of Injection Moulding, Paint Line, Paint Booth, Lacer Machine, Vibration Welding, Assembly.
• Breakdown loss minutes/Hours as not less than given target.
• Daily Electricity use reading and its PF factor.
• Ensure Highly Electricity consumption equipment’s like Machines & Paint Booth will be off while it is not in use or in Lunch Time or Tea Breaks.

Weekly Task:

• Maintaining spare parts inventory for critical machine spares.
• Utilities maintenance (cleaning, Schedule check-up)
• Monitoring of DG, and its use.
• Monitoring of Compressor and its use.
• Weekly Off working for Preventive Maintenance.
• Aim/Target to get the allowance for PF factor in Electricity Bill to minimize the bill.

Monthly Task:

• Preventive & predictive maintenance
• Preparing checklist plan vs actual
• Maintaining spare part inventory
• Updating MIS data
• Updating kaizen data
• Controlling breakdown.
• Spare parts control in terms of quality & value
• Electricity consumption control
• Fuel consumption control

Yearly Task:

• Preparing preventive action plan
• Preparing predictive maintenance plan
• Aim to Zero Breakdown through Preventive Maintenance.
