Job summary
Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (VPG) in Chennai is seeking a Senior Engineer - Assembly & NPD Quality to drive quality across NPD and assembly processes. You will lead RCCA, PPAP activities, and ensure compliance with IATF/ISO standards while supporting customer quality objectives.
The role requires strong domain expertise in PCBA, soldering, and EMS practices, with 8+ years in NPD QA and customer complaint analysis. Join a global leader focused on precision measurement sensing technologies.
Qualifications
- Diploma/degree in Electrical & Electronics with 8+ years of experience in NPD, In-process and Customer Quality from EMS industry.
- 8+ years of experience in Handling NPD QA & Customer complaints Analysis.
- Technical expertise: SMT Process, Soldering, and APQP.
Responsibilities
- Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering zero defect products and follow up of claims till closure.
- Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting analysis and RCCA using quality tools and statistical techniques to reduce scrap costs.
- Lead the Quality activities of respective Cells, validate quality objectives and results.
- Implement products and processes specifications per EMS industry norms.
- New product Qualification and ensure customer PPAP approval on time.
- Drive continual improvement towards Integrated Quality Management systems (IATF & ISO) & Customer/Internal Audits.
- Specialized in PCBA and Electronic products failure analysis.
