Job summary

eInfochips seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the Advanced Flight Management System (FMS) team in Bangalore, India. You will own design, development, and verification of safety-critical FMS software in a DevOps setting, with emphasis on DO-178B/C compliance and product quality.

The role requires hands-on avionics software experience, strong C/C++ skills, and collaboration across Systems and Certification teams to deliver optimized, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3 to 10 years of experience in avionics software development.
• Mandatory experience in Flight Management System (FMS) software development.
• Strong knowledge of DO-178B/C and software design, development, integration, and verification.
• Experience working in a DevOps environment with CI/CD practices.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, scripting languages, and embedded real-time software development.
