Expleo Group in Bangalore is seeking a System Testing Engineer – FMS to drive avionics system testing for safety-critical aerospace applications.

You will perform system/software testing and verification, derive test cases from requirements, and use tools like RTRT, LDRA or VectorCAST to ensure DO-178B/C compliance.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of Embedded/Avionics System Testing experience.
• Strong C programming and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of DO-178B/C processes and objectives.
• Experience with unit, integration and validation testing.
• Familiar with BVA and ECP testing methodologies.
• Ability to achieve structural coverage (DC/CC).
• Hands-on with verification tools: RTRT/LDRA/VectorCAST.
• Experience with DOORS for requirements management.
• Good understanding of RTOS concepts.
• Exposure to test benches, simulators, and hardware/software integration.

Are you passionate about Avionics System Testing and looking to work on safety-critical aerospace systems?

We are looking for a System Testing Engineer – FMS with strong experience in DO-178B/C, C programming, testing methodologies, test automation, and avionics systems to join our engineering team in Bangalore.

What You’ll Do :

• Perform system/software testing and verification for avionics and Flight Management Systems (FMS).
• Analyze system and software requirements and derive test scenarios, test cases and test procedures.
• Develop and update system/software-level test cases and test procedures.
• Execute tests using test benches, simulators and relevant verification environments.
• Perform test execution, result analysis, defect identification and troubleshooting.
• Apply testing techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis (BVA), Equivalence Class Partitioning (ECP) and other verification methods.
• Perform testing at Unit, Integration and Validation levels.
• Analyze and achieve structural coverage, including Decision Coverage (DC) and Condition Coverage (CC).
• Work with industry-standard verification tools such as RTRT, LDRA, VectorCAST or equivalent.
• Support test reporting, verification evidence and documentation in compliance with aerospace standards.
• Participate in requirements reviews, test reviews and technical discussions.
• Follow configuration management and change management processes.
• Leverage Python for test automation, scripting and test analysis wherever applicable.

Must-Have Skills:

• 3–5 years of experience in Embedded / Avionics System Testing.
• Strong knowledge of C programming with excellent debugging skills.
• Good understanding of DO-178B / DO-178C processes and objectives.
• Hands-on experience in Unit, Integration and Validation testing.
• Strong understanding of test methodologies – BVA, ECP, etc.
• Experience with structural coverage – DC / CC.
• Hands-on experience with one or more tools: RTRT / LDRA / VectorCAST.
• Experience working with DOORS for requirements management.
• Good understanding of RTOS concepts.
• Exposure to test benches, simulators and hardware/software integration environments.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Good to Have

• Strong Python scripting / automation skills.
• Experience in Avionics / Aerospace / Flight Management Systems (FMS).
• Knowledge of safety-critical software development and verification.
• Exposure to configuration and change management tools/processes.
• Experience in preparing test reports and verification documentation.
