Job summary

Arrow Electronics seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the Advanced Flight Management System (FMS) Aerospace team in India. You will own the design, development, integration and verification of safety-critical FMS software, ensuring DO-178B/C compliance in a DevOps environment.

You will apply strong C/C++ programming, embedded real-time software skills, and UI experience if available, while collaborating across Systems and Certification teams to deliver optimized aerospace software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace, Electronics, Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
• 3 to 10 years of experience in avionics software development.
• Mandatory experience in Flight Management System (FMS) software development; UI skills recommended.
• Strong knowledge of DO-178B/C and software design, development, integration, and verification.
• Experience in a DevOps environment with CI/CD practices.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, scripting languages, and embedded real-time software development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
