Job summary

Quest Global Bengaluru seeks a senior avionics software engineer to lead development of FMS software and verification activities. You will work in a DevOps-enabled team, applying DO-178B/C standards and robust C/C++ programming for embedded real-time systems.

The role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality avionics software.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in aerospace, electronics, CS or related engineering discipline.
• 7+ years in avionics software development.
• Mandatory FMS software development experience; UI skills recommended.
• Strong knowledge of DO-178B/C and software V&V.
• DevOps experience with CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop avionics software for Flight Management System (FMS).
• Design, develop, integrate and verify software per DO-178B/C.
• Work in a DevOps environment with CI/CD practices.
• Program in C/C++ and scripting languages for embedded real-time software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
