Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an Offshore Process Engineer to support FEED simulations, sizing of equipment, and development of heat and mass balance sheets for offshore operations.

The role involves preparing PFDs, P&IDs, and datasheets for rotating, static, and instrument items; estimating power load; and generating engineering documents and operating manuals. You will also produce SAFE charts and perform flare, blowdown, and depressurization analyses.

Qualifications

• Experience in simulation studies for oil and gas process engineering.
• Ability to prepare PFDs and P&IDs with accurate datasheets.
• Knowledge of hydraulic calculations and safety-related charts.

Responsibilities

• Sizing of equipment, instruments and lines for offshore systems.
• Preparation of PFD, P&ID and datasheets for rotating, static and instruments.
• Estimation of power load and preparation of engineering documents and operating manuals.
• Preparation of SAFE charts, cause & effect diagrams; flare, blowdown & depressurization calculations.
• Coordinate with Lead Engineers to ensure timely contract execution and audit closure.

Performing Simulation studies and developing Heat & Mass Balance sheet

• To be responsible for all the work with reference to a document/deliverables and/or activity assigned to him.
• To ensure that the documents/deliverables, generated, are in order before issuing it to others.
• To anticipate and discuss any potential delays and problems, if a with the Lead Engineer
• To co-ordinate with the fellow Job Engineers and Lead Engineers for smooth progress of the contract
• To close audit findings in a timely manner.
• To provide inputs as and when required to the relevant disciplines and to designers
• To identify the inputs required for Need list and Hold list and update
