Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Process Engineer to develop PFDs and P&IDs in line with industry standards, and to perform simulations to optimize system design.

You will conduct heat and material balance calculations, prepare datasheets for equipment, and assist in selecting pumps, exchangers, and other equipment, while collaborating with instrumentation, piping, and mechanical teams. Participation in HAZOP/HAZID and risk assessments is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, AVEVA Diagrams, or similar P&ID tools.
• Experience with process simulation tools (Aspen HYSYS, PRO-II, UniSim).
• Solid knowledge of piping systems, valves, instrumentation, and safety systems.
• Familiarity with API, ASME, ANSI, IEC, NFPA codes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of process safety and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with P&ID revision control and management systems.
• Exposure to LNG, refining, petrochemical, or pipeline projects.
