Job summary

Akkodis in Bengaluru is seeking an Electronics engineer to join the In Service Management team to support production and service issues in electronics controller design, testing and field deployment.

The Senior Electronics Engineer will collaborate with cross functional teams, perform motor drive electronics testing, troubleshooting at PCB level, and coordinate with suppliers to meet project needs, with willingness to travel to Safran and supplier sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in motor drive electronics design and testing.
• Testing and debugging ability on various industrial motors and drives.
• Ability to perform component level troubleshooting of electronics PCB.
• Familiar with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and data loggers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve reported issues.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (RS422/485, CAN, ARINC 429).
• Knowledge of sensors: Resolver, RVDT, and LVDT interface principles.
• Familiar with ARP4754 and DO254 standards.
• Knowledge of System Safety analysis and FMEA/FTA.
• Knowledge of DO-160 qualification test standards.
• Identify and evaluate test facilities and coordinate with suppliers.
• Willing to travel to various Safran and supplier sites.
• Basic software and firmware programming and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve production and service-related issues in electronics controller design, testing and production.
• Support Value Engineering and other improvement activities for electronics controllers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address reported issues.
• Travel to Safran and supplier sites as project needs require.
• Interact with component suppliers to resolve supplier concerns.
• Provide basic software/firmware programming support.

Job Summary:

We are seeking to hire Electronics engineer/Senior Electronics Engineer to work with In Service Management team. The ISM team works closely with manufacturing team to resolve production and service-related issues. He/she supports Value Engineering and other improvement activities for Electronics controller design, testing and production. The detailed requirements are listed below.

Requirements:

• Experience in Motor drive Electronics design and testing.


• Testing and debugging ability on various industrial Motors and drives


• Ability to perform component level troubleshooting of Electronics Printed Board


• Familiarity with the debugging tools such as logic analyzers, data logger and oscilloscopes.


• Coordinate with cross functional team to resolve the reported issues


• Knowledge of communication protocols such as RS422/485, CAN, ARINC 429,


• Knowledge of sensors such as Resolver, RVDT, and LVDT interface principles - Position/angle/linear displacement measurement, Excitation/demodulation.


• Familiar with industry standards including ARP4754 and DO254.


• Knowledge of System Safety analysis and Failure Mode Effect analysis, Fault Tree analysis etc.


• Knowledge of qualification test standards such as DO-160


• Identify and evaluate test facilities to meet test requirements and coordinate with the suppliers.


• Willing to travel to various Safran and supplier sites to meet the project needs.


• Interact with component supplier and support to resolve the supplier concern.


• Basic software and firmware programming and debugging skills.
