Senior Hardware Test & Validation Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Requirement and Design Analysis: Analyze product and customer requirements, along with electronic design schematics, interfaces, and connectors.
- Innovation and Testing: Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and validation protocols to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance of electronic systems and components.
- Analysis and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing using state-of-the-art equipment, analyze data, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Standards and Compliance: Ensure tests adhere to regional and industry standards such as ISO 26262, IATF 16949, and design validation processes.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with design, development, and manufacturing teams, communicating findings effectively to drive improvements.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues, brainstorm solutions, and resolve complex technical problems.
- Documentation: Create detailed reports and validation documentation, ensuring thorough and compliant records.
- Continuous Learning: Keep updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices and new techniques.
Requirements:
Must-have:
- Bachelor/Master's in Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in electronics design and product validation planning and execution
- Knowledge of compliance standards like IEC61000, ISO 10605, ISO 11452, CISPR 25, ISO 16750, IEC 60068
- Experience testing mixed signals electronics and embedded systems
- Understanding of onboard DC-DC power supplies, CAN, SPI, I2C, current sensors
- Proficiency with multimeters, DSOs, programmable power supplies, and test setups
- Experience testing relay and MOSFET-based PDU devices
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with testing batteries/BMS
- Knowledge of industry standards like AIS156, AIS004, ISO-26262
- Familiarity with embedded system design/testing
- Proficiency with Altium Designer, MPLAB X, LabVIEW
- Knowledge of Python or Embedded C programming
