Role: Embedded Hardware & Power Electronics Engineer
Department: ESS-IN
Overview of the Position
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Hardware & Power Electronics Engineer with strong knowledge in power electronics design, signal conditioning, and embedded systems. The candidate should have hands‑on experience in hardware development, power stage design, motor control systems, and embedded electronics.
- Design and develop embedded hardware and power electronics systems.
- Work on power stage design with filters considering Analog, Digital, and Isolated grounds.
- Develop and support motor control driver circuits and PWM‑based applications.
- Perform schematic and signal analysis using LT Spice, MATLAB, and Simulink.
- Design power supply systems including Boost and Buck converters.
- Work on signal conditioning and board‑level hardware design.
- Support PCB layout, board development, and hardware debugging activities.
- Assist in Hardware‑Software Integration (HSI) testing.
- Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC standards during design and development.
- Prepare and maintain product‑specific technical documentation.
Education Qualification
- BE / B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Experience
Essential Functional / Technical Competencies
- Experience in Power Electronics design involving MOSFETs, Drivers, and Power Stage Design.
- Knowledge of Analog, Digital, and Isolated Ground considerations.
- Experience in Motor Control Drivers and PWM techniques.
- Hands‑on experience with LT Spice, MATLAB, and Simulink for schematic and signal analysis.
- Experience in Power Supply Design (Boost & Buck Converters).
- Strong knowledge in Signal Conditioning and Board‑Level Design.
- Good understanding of PCB Layout and Board Development.
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
- Experience in preparing product‑specific documentation.
Desired Functional / Technical Competencies
- Good understanding of EMI/EMC standards.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, I2C, SPI, and UART.
- Experience in Hardware‑Software Integration testing.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
