Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is seeking engineers with expertise in motor drive electronics design and testing for aerospace and defense applications. The role involves debugging Power electronics, PCB level troubleshooting, and working with RS422/485, CAN, ARINC 429 interfaces.

Candidates should have knowledge of ARP4754/DO254, system safety analyses (FMEA/FTA), and DO-160 qualification standards. Travel to Safran and supplier sites will be required, with collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace electronics design and testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronics PCB at component level.
• Familiar with debugging tools: logic analyzers, data loggers and oscilloscopes.
• Knowledge of RS422/485, CAN, ARINC 429 interfaces.
• Experience with ARP4754 and DO254 standards.
• Knowledge of system safety analysis and FMEA/FTA.
• Experience with DO-160 qualification tests.
• Willingness to travel to Safran and supplier sites.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Basic software/firmware programming and debugging.
• Experience in Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform component level troubleshooting of Electronics Printed Board.
• Familiarity with the debugging tools such as logic analyzers, data logger and oscilloscopes.
• Coordinate with cross functional team to resolve the reported issues.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as RS422/485, CAN, ARINC 429.
• Knowledge of sensors such as Resolver, RVDT, and LVDT interface principles - Position/angle/linear displacement measurement, Excitation/demodulation.
• Familiar with industry standards including ARP4754 and DO254.
• Knowledge of System Safety analysis and Failure Mode Effect analysis, Fault Tree analysis etc.
• Knowledge of qualification test standards such as DO-160.
• Identify and evaluate test facilities to meet test requirements and coordinate with the supplier.
• Willing to travel to various Safran and supplier sites to meet the project needs.
• Interact with component supplier and support to resolve the supplier concern.
• Basic software and firmware programming and debugging skills.
• Experience in Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industries.
