Job summary

Econ Pollution Control Consultants - India is seeking a Senior Electrical Draughtsman to support electrical design and drafting for residential, commercial and industrial projects in Mumbai.

The role focuses on developing electrical drawings, SLDs and layouts, coordinating with multiple disciplines and guiding junior draftsmen. Strong CAD skills and project coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Electrical Drafting.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or ZWCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of electrical MEP systems, SLDs, layouts, cable routing, earthing and lighting.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors and site teams.
• Ability to independently handle electrical drawings and coordinate with multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop Electrical drawings for industrial, commercial and building projects.
• Prepare SLDs, electrical layouts, power & lighting layouts, cable routing, earthing and lightning protection drawings.
• Develop MCC, PCC, DB, panel and equipment layouts as per project requirements.
• Prepare cable schedules, load schedules, BOQs and other electrical drafting documents.
• Coordinate electrical drawings with HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, structural and architectural disciplines.
• Review drawings for accuracy, design compliance and constructability.
• Incorporate consultant/client comments and revisions into drawings.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, MEP coordinators, consultants, vendors and site teams.
• Assist in resolving site-related drawing and coordination issues.
• Maintain proper drawing registers, revisions and documentation.
• Guide and review the work of junior electrical draftsmen.

Position: Senior Electrical Draughtsman
