Job summary

Nirmaan is seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to lead electrical design activities for commercial and office building projects. The successful candidate will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and deliver high-quality drawings and calculations in compliance with standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities include preparing layouts, performing load calculations, and reviewing shop drawings, among others. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MEP projects and expertise in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in commercial & office MEP projects.
• Expertise in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of electrical codes & standards.
• Good understanding of lighting design, power distribution & ELV systems.
• Ability to lead a small team and manage deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for commercial and office projects.
• Prepare electrical layouts – lighting, power, emergency, earthing & ELV.
• Perform load calculations and sizing of panels, cables, and breakers.
• Prepare SLDs, layouts, BOQs, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate with architects, HVAC, plumbing & fire teams.
• Review shop drawings and resolve site/RFI issues.
• Ensure compliance with NBC, IEC, IS & local codes.
• Guide junior designers and check their drawings.
• Attend client & coordination meetings when required.
