Job summary

BMC Helix is seeking a DevOps Tech Lead to design, develop, and implement complex SaaS applications using cutting-edge technologies. You will drive the DevOps journey across the organization, building robust CI/CD pipelines and scalable cloud architectures.

You will mentor new engineers, collaborate across teams, and deliver high-quality enterprise SaaS offerings on schedule while pushing automation and innovation. This is a hands-on leadership role based in Maharashtra, India.

Qualifications

• At least 6+ years in DevOps or SRE role.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with OCI and/or AWS.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Strong knowledge of microservices and API implementation.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools.

BMC Helix's SaaS Ops team is looking for a DevOps Tech Lead to join us and design, develop, and implement complex applications, using the latest technologies.

• Participate in all aspects of SaaS product development, from requirements analysis to product release and sustaining
• Drive the adoption of the DevOps process and tools across the organization.
• Learn and implement cutting-edge technologies and tools to build best of class enterprise SaaS solutions
• Deliver high-quality enterprise SaaS offerings on schedule
• Develop Continuous Delivery Pipeline
• Initiate projects and ideas to improve the team’s results
• On-board and mentor new employees

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• At least 6+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Strong knowledge of SRE practices and operational best practices.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, Spinnaker, Jenkins, Maven, and Jira.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure management.
• Experience implementing and managing solutions on OCI and/or AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure ARM templates.
• Experience developing automation using Ansible playbooks.
• Scripting or programming experience in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Experience working with Git repositories and Jira-based workflows.
• Good understanding of microservices, databases, and API implementation.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Jaeger, Grafana, AppDynamics, Datadog, and Nagios.
• A strong focus on quality, with creativity and innovation in improving products, automation, and operational processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate successfully within a team.
