Job summary

TING, based in Chennai, seeks a seasoned copywriter/content marketer to develop and execute content strategies for multiple brands across website, email, social, and advertising channels.

You will write and edit diverse content, collaborate with designers and marketing managers, and mentor junior team members. English and Tamil fluency is essential, while Hindi or other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of copywriting/content marketing experience with a portfolio.
• Strong understanding of content marketing on social media, SEO, and digital marketing best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to write in varied styles.
• Attention to detail; ability to proofread and edit own and others' work.
• Experience collaborating with designers and marketing managers.
• Proficiency in English; Tamil; Hindi or other languages are a plus.

• Develop and execute creative and effective content strategies for brands across all channels, including website, email, social media, and advertising
• Write and edit website copy, blog articles, product descriptions, email marketing campaigns, social media posts, and advertising copy that is engaging, informative, and aligned with our brand voice and tone
• Collaborate with visualizers, art directors, and other cross-functional team members to develop and execute on-brand campaigns and initiatives
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform content creation and strategy
• Ensure all content is accurate, error-free, and meets brand and style guidelines
• Review and provide feedback on content created by other team members
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior copywriters and other team members, as needed
• Present concepts/ideas to brands as per briefs and ensure that the feedback is incorporated
• Ability to delegate tasks efficiently to junior team members
• Ability to work on 3-5 brands simultaneously

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• 4-5 years of experience in copywriting or content marketing, with a portfolio of work that demonstrates exceptional writing skills and creativity
• Strong understanding of content marketing on social media, SEO, and digital marketing best practices

• Can speak, read and write in English, Tamil [Hindi and other languages would be an advantage]
