Job summary

Engati Technologies Inc. in Chennai is seeking an experienced copywriter to develop and execute content strategies for brands across website, email, social media, and advertising.

You will write and edit engaging copy, ensuring alignment with our brand voice and tone. You will collaborate with designers and cross-functional teams to deliver on-brand campaigns for multiple brands, while mentoring junior writers and maintaining high editorial standards.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of copywriting or content marketing experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional writing skills and creativity.
• Strong understanding of social media content marketing, SEO, and digital marketing best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write in a variety of styles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketing managers.
• Can speak, read and write in English, Tamil; Hindi and other languages would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute content strategies for brands across channels (website, email, social, advertising).

• Write and edit website copy, blog articles, product descriptions, email marketing campaigns, social media posts, and advertising copy that is engaging, informative, and aligned with our brand voice and tone
• Collaborate with visualizers, art directors, and other cross-functional team members to develop and execute on-brand campaigns and initiatives
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform content creation and strategy
• Ensure all content is accurate, error-free, and meets brand and style guidelines
• Review and provide feedback on content created by other team members
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior copywriters and other team members, as needed
• Present concepts/ideas to brands as per briefs and ensure that the feedback is incorporated
• Ability to delegate tasks efficiently to junior team members
• Ability to work on 3-5 brands simultaneously

Requirements
