Job summary

Nielsen Holdings Plc in India is seeking a Senior Controllership Associate I with 1.5–3 years of experience in full-cycle AP processing to manage invoice processing, 3-way matching and monthly reconciliation.

You will review and code invoices, assist with month-end closings, ensure correct tax codes, and collaborate with Procurement to resolve PO bottlenecks and aged invoices. Strong Excel skills and ERP experience (SAP, Ariba) are essential.

Qualifications

• 1.5 - 3 years of hands-on accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Notice period: 0-15 days (preferably immediate joiner).
• Education: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, or business administration preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: SAP, Ariba; Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing & Matching: Review, code, and enter vendor invoices, credit memos using 3-way matching & 2-way (PO, receiving report, invoice).
• Month-End Closing Support: Assist with month-end closing procedures, including AP accruals and aging report analysis.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure invoices are booked to correct Tax codes.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal departments (Procurement) to resolve PO bottlenecks and chase requestors to approve aged invoices.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing & Matching: Review, code, and enter vendor invoices, credit memos using 3-way matching & 2 Way (PO, receiving report, invoice).

• Month-End Closing Support: Assist with month-end closing procedures, including AP accruals and aging report analysis.

• Tax Compliance: Ensure invoices are booked to correct Tax codes.

• Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal departments (Procurement,) to resolve PO bottlenecks and Chase with requestors to approve aged invoices or to resolve the queries.

• Experience: 1.5 - 3 years of hands-on accounts payable or general accounting experience.

• Notice period: 0- 15 days (Preferably Immediate joiner)

• Education: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Practical experience with ERP systems SAP, Ariba Etc.

  • Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).

• Core Competencies:

  • High attention to detail and data entry accuracy.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental and vendor interactions.

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
