Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing & Matching: Review, code, and enter vendor invoices and memos using 3-way and 2-way matching.
• Month-End Closing Support: Assist with month-end closing procedures, including accruals and aging analysis.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure invoices are booked to correct tax codes.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with Procurement and other departments to resolve PO bottlenecks and aged invoices.

Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an accurate, detail-oriented Senior Controllership Associate I with 1.5 - 3 years of experience in full-cycle AP processing. In this role, you will manage invoice Processing, three-way matching and monthly reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Processing & Matching: Review, code, and enter vendor invoices, credit memos using 3-way matching & 2 Way (PO, receiving report, invoice).

Month-End Closing Support: Assist with month-end closing procedures, including AP accruals and aging report analysis.

Tax Compliance: Ensure invoices are booked to correct Tax codes.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal departments (Procurement,) to resolve PO bottlenecks and Chase with requestors to approve aged invoices or to resolve the queries.

Qualifications

Experience: 1.5 - 3 years of hands-on accounts payable or general accounting experience.

Notice period: 0- 15 days (Preferably Immediate joiner)

Education: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.

Technical Proficiency:

Practical experience with ERP systems SAP, Ariba Etc.

Core Competencies:

High attention to detail and data entry accuracy.

Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental and vendor interactions.

Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
