Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services is seeking a TCMS Senior Control Engineer to lead control engineering activities for Metro and EMU applications in the rolling stock industry. You will work on architecture to detailed specifications and interface designs, ensuring compliance with customer and standard requirements.

The role requires hands-on design and development of TCMS functions, knowledge of Serial, Ethernet, MVB networks, and experience across multiple subsystems.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in TCIS Rolling stock industry.
• Rolling stock functional engineer experiences on several functions.
• Experience in electrical and schematic design activity.
• Hands-on experience in design & development of TCMS functions for Metro/EMU trains.
• Knowledge of network topologies and interfaces for Serial, Ethernet, MVB and other industrial communication network.

Responsibilities

• For the specific functions formulating a Low voltage and SW control design solution that fulfils the specified customer and standard requirements.
• Deliver all TCIS Engineering outputs including Functional Design Description FDD with Human machine interfaces, Electrical Schemes and Electrical Products definition (with the support of Electrical Lead Engineer), in compliance with the Engineering Quality Cost Delay commitments.
• Deliver Interface Control Document (ICD) for sub system participating in its function.
• Treatment of Change Request (CR) related to its function.
• Support Supplier interface test or TCIS verification tests on PC or TCMS Test Bench
• Provide support during train integration/validation, as needed.
