Job summary

enGen Global is seeking a Scrum Master with a strong focus on the US Healthcare domain to guide and coach cross-functional teams in Chennai/Hyderabad. With 9–12 years of software development experience, you will enable self-organizing, high-performing squads by facilitating Scrum events, removing impediments, and promoting continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with the Team Manager and Product Owner to refine sprints and roadmaps while ensuring clear communication and delivery of business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 9–12 years of software development experience overall.
• Work closely with Team Manager, Product Owner to help define sprints and roadmap.
• Ability to understand technical and business details to guide team and remove impediments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Agile coaching for Scrum teams to ensure Scrum adoption and improvement.
• Identify, communicate and resolve impediments; shield team from non-critical unplanned work.
• Schedule and facilitate Scrum ceremonies to help plan and complete tasks.
• Use metrics and techniques to guide progress against the Sprint Plan.
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives with the team and leadership.

We are looking for a Scrum Master (US Healthcare domain) with 9 to 12 years of experience based in Chennai / Hyderabad.

Summary

Servant leader who enables teams to deliver the highest business value to their customer as effectively and efficiently as possible. Assists in coaching and advising the teams on desired Scrum processes, procedures, values and interactions as well as opportunities for continuous improvement. The incumbent strives to enable teams to become self-organizing, cross-functional and accountable while assisting them to achieve their Sprint plan by facilitating Scrum events, removing impediments and resolving issues outside of the team's control.

Responsibilities

• Provide Agile coaching for Scrum teams to ensure the adoption and improvement of Scrum practices, process and desired outcomes; Assists in establishing a culture of self-organizing, cross-functional and accountable teams; Help those outside the Scrum teams understand which of their interactions with the Scrum teams are helpful and which ones are not.
• Assist teams to identify, communicate and resolve or elevate impediments and issues; Run interference for non-critical unplanned work that may prevent the team from completing their planned Sprint goal.
• Schedule and facilitate Scrum meetings including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum and Sprint Reviews to enable teams to plan and complete tasks based on the highest priority and the teams' available capacity.
• Utilize appropriate tools, metrics and techniques to successfully guide the team’s progress against the Sprint Plan.
• Assist in driving continuous improvement through the facilitation. of team and leadership retrospectives, ensuring teams effectively prioritize, plan and execute on improvement ideas.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.

Required Skills/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 9 to 12 years of overall software development experience.
• Work closely with Team Manager, Product Owner to help define sprints and roadmap
• Have ability to understand technical and business details to help guide team to deliver - assist in removing impediments, escape issues, etc.
• Understanding of Chat and AI capabilities, designs, integrations; GCP Cloud knowledge a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Professional Scrum Master I or Certified Scrum Master certifications.
• Outstanding Interpersonal Communication Skills
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
