Role & responsibilities

• Study and interpret architectural, structural, and service drawings thoroughly before and during execution.
• Coordinate closely with architects, consultants, and contractors to obtain complete, accurate drawings and clarifications in a timely manner.
• Ensure site construction is carried out strictly in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and project requirements.
• Manage and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, labour teams, and site supervisors for efficient execution.
• Monitor daily site progress, identify delays or deviations early, and take corrective action to maintain the project schedule.
• Enforce all site safety protocols, statutory requirements, and safe working practices.
• Inspect workmanship and materials to ensure the required quality standards are maintained at every stage.
• Verify contractor bills, measurements, quantities, and applicable contract rates before certification.
• Prevent unauthorized or unnecessary extra work; ensure that all variations receive prior approval and proper documentation.
• Track project costs against the approved budget and recommend cost-effective construction solutions without compromising quality.
• Maintain site records, progress reports, inspection reports, measurement books, material approvals, and coordination records.
• Conduct regular coordination meetings with contractors and project stakeholders to resolve technical and execution issues.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 812 years of relevant experience in building construction and site execution.
• Strong ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Proven experience managing contractors, quality control, safety compliance, measurements, billing, and project planning.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, material specifications, BOQ, rate analysis, and contract administration.
• Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and MS Project.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
