Job summary

Ascendion seeks a pure-play Senior Business Analyst to independently drive business discovery and own core BA deliverables across complex digital transformation programs. The role demands strong problem-framing and ownership of artefacts, with experience in enterprise delivery practices.

You will lead elicitation with senior stakeholders, map processes, craft user stories and acceptance criteria, and work in distributed delivery environments leveraging BPMN and Agile methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as described or equivalent.
• Formal BA certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) and Agile credentials are strongly desirable.
• Experience on enterprise-scale Digital Transformation programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements elicitation across virtual and in-person settings with senior business stakeholders.
• Apply structured problem-definition techniques to clearly articulate business needs, constraints, and outcomes.
• Produce high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria, demonstrating clear understanding of story structure, quality benchmarks, and testability.
• Own process mapping using standard notations (e.g., BPMN) and facilitate outcome-driven business workshops.
• Translate business intent into precise BA artefacts, grounded in Agile and enterprise delivery best practices.

• This role requires a pure-play Senior Business Analyst, not a proxy Product Manager or Consultant.
