Job summary

Codezeros is seeking an experienced Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver scalable digital products. You will translate business needs into clear specifications and work across product, design, development, QA, and leadership in an Agile setting.

The role requires 5–7 years in software development or IT services, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with BRD/FRD/SRS, user stories, and backlog grooming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5–7 years of BA experience in software development or IT services.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience preparing BRD, FRD, SRS, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Use Cases.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and SRS documents.
• Create process flows, UML diagrams, wireframes, and journey maps.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Developers, and QA throughout the SDLC.
• Prioritize requirements and manage product backlogs with stakeholders.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT, and release planning.
• Validate features against requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform gap and impact analysis and recommend automation opportunities.
• Monitor product performance and suggest improvements based on metrics.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience in software product development, and the ability to convert business requirements into clear functional specifications.

You will collaborate with clients, product managers, designers, developers, QA teams, and leadership to deliver scalable digital products while ensuring business objectives are met. Experience with Agile methodologies, AI-assisted analysis, and modern collaboration tools is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Conduct requirement elicitation workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions.
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, FRDs, and SRS documents.
• Create process flows, UML diagrams, wireframes, journey maps, and workflow documentation.
• Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Developers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
• Prioritize requirements and manage product backlogs in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT, and release planning.
• Validate delivered features against business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility assessments.
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements through automation and digital transformation.
• Monitor product performance using analytics and recommend enhancements based on user behavior and business metrics.
• Support change management, implementation, and user adoption.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies including AI, automation, cloud platforms, blockchain (where applicable), and modern software development practices.
• Experience working with distributed or international teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development or IT services.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
