Job summary

Studio MH02 LLP in Mumbai, India is seeking a Senior BIM Engineer to lead BIM modelling, coordinate multidisciplinary services, and ensure high-quality BIM outputs for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

The role requires a hands-on leader who can plan BIM deliverables, run clash detection, and ensure BEP compliance across all disciplines. You will mentor junior staff and drive BIM standards to improve collaboration with clients and consultants.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Architecture.
• 4–7 years of relevant BIM modelling and coordination experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
• Practical experience with Navisworks and multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
• Experience in managing model revisions, construction documentation, and quality checks.
• Ability to independently manage BIM deliverables and guide junior team members.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 principles and BIM Execution Plans.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or equivalent CDE platforms.
• Knowledge of Dynamo or other BIM automation tools.
• Plan BIM deliverables in coordination with the Project Manager or BIM Manager.
• Monitor project progress against timelines and milestones.

We work with architects, consultants, and contractors to deliver coordinated BIM models, improve design coordination, and streamline project execution.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior BIM Engineer to lead BIM modelling, coordinate multidisciplinary services, manage project deliverables, and ensure high-quality BIM outputs.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare coordinated 3D models, construction drawings, shop drawings, and documentation as per project requirements.
• Ensure models comply with the specified Level of Development (LOD), BIM Execution Plan (BEP), and project standards.
• Review model accuracy, drawing quality, and compliance with design specifications.
• Manage model updates and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models to identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Conduct clash detection and coordinate with relevant consultants to resolve clashes.
• Review federated models and prepare clash reports and coordination comments.
• Ensure that all disciplines are working with the latest approved drawings and models.
• Participate in coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and project teams.
  
• Lead and guide BIM engineers, BIM modellers, and junior team members.
• Allocate modelling and documentation tasks based on project priorities and team capacity.
• Monitor team productivity, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Conduct model reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency and BIM workflows.
  
• Implement BIM standards, naming conventions, worksharing protocols, and model management procedures.
• Ensure compliance with the project BEP and applicable BIM standards.
• Perform regular quality checks on models, views, sheets, families, and schedules.
• Maintain proper revision control and documentation of project changes.
• Identify modelling errors and implement corrective measures.
  
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks and Autodesk Forma
• Work with linked models, worksets, shared coordinates, model federation, and clash detection workflows.
• Use Autodesk Construction Cloud or other Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms where required.
• Support the development of Revit families, templates, schedules, and automation workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve BIM processes through Dynamo, scripting, or other automation tools.
  
• Plan BIM deliverables in coordination with the Project Manager or BIM Manager.
• Monitor project progress against agreed timelines and milestones.
• Report technical issues, coordination risks, resource requirements, and potential delays.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ensure timely submission of models, drawings, and coordination reports.
