Finulent is seeking a Senior Designer (MEP BIM) to lead BIM modelling and coordination from Mumbai. You will develop detailed MEP models (LOD 300–400) using design drawings, surveys, and point-cloud data, coordinating HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems with architectural and structural models.

You will guide junior BIM engineers, conduct QA/QC, and support project setup, BIM deliverables, and production planning. Strong Revit MEP and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BIM / VDC projects.
• Hands-on BIM modelling in Revit at LOD 300-400.
• Ability to interpret drawings, RFIs, and BIM standards.
• Strong leadership and coordination abilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead MEP BIM modelling and coordination for projects.
• Develop detailed LOD 300–400 MEP models from designs, surveys, and point-cloud data.
• Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other MEP systems with architectural/structural models.
• Perform clash detection and support issue resolution.
• Review BIM models/drawings for accuracy and compliance with requirements.
• Conduct QA/QC and ensure adherence to BIM standards.
• Support project setup, modelling strategy, and deliverables planning.
• Guide and support junior BIM engineers.
• Coordinate with internal teams and participate in client discussions when needed.
• Support Scan‑to‑BIM, As‑Built and Point Cloud‑to‑BIM projects.
• Maintain project documentation, model versions, and deliverable standards.
• Improve BIM workflows, templates, families and production standards.

• Lead MEP BIM modelling and coordination activities for assigned projects.
• Develop detailed LOD 300–400 MEP models from design drawings, specifications, surveys and point-cloud data.

• Advanced Autodesk Revit MEP – mandatory.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building services.
• Navisworks Manage and clash detection.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
• Experience with LOD 300–400 modelling.
• Experience with Scan‑to‑BIM / Point Cloud‑to‑BIM is preferred.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360 is an advantage.
• Understanding of ISO 19650, BIM execution processes and information management is an advantage.
• Strong QA/QC and technical review capabilities.

Education

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience working on international BIM projects.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in BIM / VDC projects
• Hands‑on experience developing BIM models in Revit (Architecture/Structure/MEP) at LOD 300-400, with the ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, and follow BIM standards, including sheet setup and project documentation.
• Good leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
