Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Unified Systems Operator to monitor, control, and maintain our expansive infrastructure. You will be the trusted advisor to customers, ensuring seamless operations and applying proactive measures to prevent outages.

In this role you will work with diverse teams, handle incidents, and apply best practices for performance and resource utilization. A strong background in IT systems, Windows/Linux, and customer communication is essential.

Qualifications

• JLPT N2 or higher in Japanese and fluent English.
• 6+ years in a similar IT/technical role.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent client communication and negotiation skills.

The Role

As a Unified Systems Operator at Kyndryl, you’ll take on a critical role of monitoring, controlling, and maintaining cutting‑edge systems across our expansive infrastructure environment. Required Skills and Experience

• Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) and English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in IT systems, including networks, hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
• Experienced in handling client communication and negotiations.
• Excellent in Japanese skills both translation and interpretation
• At least 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an IT or technical setting.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Hands‑on experience

Preferred Skills and Experience

• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems
• Experience or technical knowledge of Batch Operations
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other related fields
