Job summary

PTC in India is seeking experienced software developers to work on our Java-based web application within an Agile Scrum team. You will contribute to feature development, bug fixing, and building reusable code, collaborating with Product Owner, Support and QA.

With 5+ years in software development, you will apply Java SE, Spring MVC, Angular, and SQL to deliver scalable solutions, while embracing modern CI practices and security considerations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java SE, Spring MVC and Angular with TypeScript.
• Strong SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and JDBC basics.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD and MVC pattern.
• Familiarity with Web security, OAuth/OpenID Connect is a plus.
• Able to work in Agile Scrum / Kanban environment and collaborate with PO, QA and Support.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Software development under Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)
• Feature development / Bug fixing
• Building reusable code for future use
• Participating in the design and creation of a scalable software
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Support and QA (Quality Assurance) teams
• Showcasing the features developed to the team and customers

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
• Has experience (or can quickly learn into):
• Javascript, TypeScript, Angular framework (latest versions from v14, build and automation tools)
• CSS, CSS3
• Java SE
• SQL, JDBC; Postgres or Oracle basics
• JAVA Spring and Spring MVC
• Continuous Integration
• MVC pattern
• Git on GitHub
• Can perform in other software development roles on a basic level, such as Business Analysis, Testing, Documentation
• Goal orientation and strict logical thinking capabilities and habits.
• Experience in Angular‑tailored Redux architecture (NgRx) would be considered an asset
• Experience in Web security, authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, Open ID Connect)
• Angular knowledge is a plus
