Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Software Test Engineer with 4+ years of QA experience to join our automation-focused team. You will develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, and Cucumber, and drive functional, regression, and end-to-end testing within CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps to ensure quality across the SDLC, mentor juniors, and contribute to test strategy and tooling, including AI-assisted testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using modern automation tools and frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Must be able to leverage AI assisted tools for the day-to-day activities
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution.
• Contribute to process improvements, test automation strategy, and quality best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on automation initiatives.
• Support release validation activities and production issue investigations when required.
