Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Senior QA Engineer (Mobile and Web Automation) to lead testing across web, API, and mobile interfaces. You will own end-to-end quality for features, design robust automation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to continually improve testing processes and coverage.

You will build and maintain automation suites (Selenium, Playwright, Flutter integration tests) and handle defects via Azure DevOps, while staying ahead of QA trends to deliver high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing and QA experience
• Experience in test automation within agile environments (SAFe preferred)
• Proficient with API and web application testing, regression and integration testing

Responsibilities

• Develop and document test plans, cases, and automation scripts from scratch
• Create and execute automated tests including some manual scenarios
• Build, enhance, and maintain automation suites for web and API platforms
• Report, track, and manage defects using Azure DevOps

What This Role Is About

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer (Mobile and Web Automation) with strong expertise across web, and API testing. The ideal candidate possesses a solid foundation in manual testing, extensive hands‑on automation skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capability to take ownership of end‑to‑end quality for assigned features. This role requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and continuous improvement of testing processes, frameworks, and automation coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and document comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts based on functional and technical requirements from scratch.
• Create and execute automated test cases including few manual scenarios to validate software functionality, usability, API responses, and overall system stability.
• Build, enhance, and maintain automation test suites for web and API platforms.
• Accurately report, track, and manage defects using Azure DevOps, ensuring clear and concise communication with the development team.
• Take ownership of end‑to‑end quality for assigned modules/features and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality releases.
• Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not adversely impact existing functionality.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide early feedback.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and QA processes for traceability and reproducibility.
• Stay updated with emerging QA trends, tools, automation technologies, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

Work Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong experience in test automation, agile methodologies, and test lifecycle management within an agile software development environment (preferably Scaled Agile (SAFe))
• Test Automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)
• API and Web Application Testing
• Regression and Integration Testing
• Defect Lifecycle Management

Mandatory Skills

• Mobile/Frontend: Flutter UI testing.
• Testing Frameworks: Flutter integration test, Playwright/Selenium (for web components).
• CI/CD & Tracking: Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, Jira or similar.

Optional Skills

• Appium, TestRail or Similar
