Job summary

Acuity Knowledge Partners in Gurgaon is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate for its Private Markets team. You will prepare advanced reports on investment strategies, PE funds, and portfolio companies, and develop deep IFRS/GAAP insights.

You will conduct primary and secondary research, write bespoke analysis, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables while coordinating with stakeholders across time zones.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, organizational and teamwork skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with CapIQ and Preqin is a plus.
• Experience in client interactions and delivering high-quality reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare advanced reports on investment strategy, PE funds, portfolio companies and market scenario.
• Develop deep understanding of Fund level IFRS/GAAP reporting.
• Conduct primary and secondary research from industry sources.
• Prepare bespoke write-ups capturing headwinds/tailwinds for portfolios.
• Capture fund valuation data and financial KPIs (IRR, EBITDA, revenue, net debt).
• Track PE fund performance and portfolio valuation changes.
• Meet project timelines and ensure high client satisfaction.
• Engage with clients independently on calls and emails.

Job purpose

Acuity is currentlylooking for dedicated and motivated individuals who have strong leadership,organizational and teamwork skills for its Private Markets team based inGurgaon.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare advanced reports on client’sinvestment strategy, their PE funds, the portfolio companies and overalleconomy / market scenario
• Develop deep understanding of Fund level, GPLevel IFRS/GAAP reporting
• Conduct primary research from industry sourcesand secondary research
• Prepare bespoke write-ups to capture theportfolio Headwinds/Tailwinds
• Capture fund valuation data such as investmentcost, realized / unrealized value, gross / net multiple, gross / net IRR andfinancial KPIs such as revenue, EBITDA, net debt etc.
• Capture PE fund performance such as multiplesand IRRs; Tracking portfolio company Valuation changes.
• Meeting project timelines and quality ofdeliverables in a manner to ensure “high client satisfaction”
• Conducting quality control check of theoutgoing reports / packs
• Engaging client independentlyon calls and e-mails
• Other responsibilities include:
  • o Scoping the new projects,structuring deliverables/new research products
  • o Demonstrating strength and experience in client /requester relationship building and management, information / knowledge needsassessment
• Knowledge and understanding of Private Equityand Fund of Funds
• Knowledge of databases including CapIQ, Preqinis an added advantage
• Ability to take complete ownership and deliverthe projects as per client requirements and timeline
• Excellent communication and interpersonalskills
• Ability to communicate effectively and liaisewith high-quality project-level conversations with all stake holders acrosstime zones
• Should be able to work independently, withminimal guidance and support
• Prior experience in handling clients directlythrough calls / mails
